General data and installation instructions

Want to link to your WordPress-WooCommerce website easily and quickly. Then you've come to the right place with PERIFACT!

These are the possibilities

All WooCommerce contacts are now added to PERIFACT
All WooCommerce products, including images, are added to PERIFACT
All orders within WooCommerce are now loaded into PERIFACT.

Step 1 - Check WordPress setting

Make sure the WordPress permalinks are set properly.

Apart from PERIFACT, this is also always a good idea, as you will become more findable in Google!

Go to WordPress menu SETTINGS - PERMALINKS and then (advice) MESSAGE NAME. If it stays on 'Simple' then it goes not work.

Step 2 - Set up WooCommerce access

Now we are going to arrange access for PERIFACT.

Go to WordPress menu WOOCOMMERCE - SETTINGS - ADVANCED and then 'REST API'
Press the button 'ADD KEY'

You will now be asked for a description fill in any description here that makes sense to you.

Enter description

The text "PERIFACT access" does come in handy so you can always remember at a later time who or what that was for. The text is not used anywhere else.

You may decide the permissions, for now "Read" is fine. That is, you give the rights to read (read; retrieve) all data and write nothing back. If you want future certainty you may set it to "Read and write". Because in later versions of PERIFACT, it may be possible to put products on the Internet, for example.

Now press the button "Generate API key"

Step 3 - Copy keys to PERIFACT.

Now we are going to copy created keys to PERIFACT.

As also stated on the screen, do not leave this page until you have copied the keys. Otherwise, you have to go back to STEP 2

Press the button "Copy" of the customer key and now go to the PERIFACT program.
Go to the PERIFACT program and then main menu SETTINGS - WOOCOMMERCE

In the program PERIFACT, after entering the website URL, we can enter the keys.

Using the button next to the entry field, we can easily enter key by key. ( See red arrow )

Paste the WooCommerce keys into PERIFACT

Step 4 - Test your account in PERIFACT

Now as a final step, we are going to test everything.

In PERIFACT, proceed to the next step.

Press the button 'Test your account‘

Done! You are now ready to bring in WooCommerce data.
