2 versions
For several months now, Outlook may have 2 versions in circulation on the same computer. That is already strange, but that is a choice of Microsoft. Excel and Word you don't have 2 versions of those either, you update it and the old one disappears.... There is now a Outlook (Classic) and a Outlook (New) installed. Outlook (New) is incomplete.
If you type "Outlook" into the search box at the bottom of the Windows taskbar, you will see both versions:
Steps to remove "Outlook (New)" for full compatibility with PERIFACT:
-
Open the Windows Start menu
Make sure you have both Outlook (Classic) as Outlook (New) sees. This means that both versions of Outlook are currently on your computer, but Outlook (New) does not yet offer full functionality and therefore does not work with PERIFACT. -
Uninstall Outlook (New)
- In the Windows search bar, type: 'Uninstall programs'.
- Search the list for Outlook (New) and select it.
- Click on Remove To delete Outlook (New) from your computer.
By uninstalling this version, you only use Outlook (Classic), which is fully compatible with PERIFACT.
