Management

Database actions can be found in PERIFACT main menu EXTRA'S - MANAGEMENT. Here you can perform a number of actions on the PERIFACT data or on the basic program settings.

Tip

Some actions have high impact. Such as deleting data. Be careful and always make sure you have a good backup beforehand! 

 

  • Delete all customers and invoices: Only customers and invoices are deleted. All further settings remain preserved! Action can only be undone by a backup retrieve.
  • Clear all products: Again, all settings are retained. Only all products are deleted.
  • Complete reinstallation: All settings and data are deleted, including from the Windows registry. This will make you a completely new and clean installation again/
  • Add demo data: you have deleted the demo data but you still want them back. Then you have herewith the possibility to start working with the demo data again.
  • Delete demo customers and invoices: this clears the demo data so that you are left with only your own data.
  • New PERIFACT file location: if you want to move PERIFACT to a new file location, you can use this to delete the current settings. PERIFACT will then ask for a new location on start-up. Therefore, make sure you have the files there, of course. Read here more what to do ( REMOVE PERIFACT FOLDER section ).
  • LAYOUT table reset: should the customization of layouts and thus own layouts become completely cluttered, this can be used to reset everything to factory settings
  • Check database: Checks and recalculates all invoices and quotes
