In the main EXTRAs menu of PERIFACT, there is the "Backup and RESTORE" item. This is the central place for managing backups
Did you know.
PERIFACT makes a full backup of all your data every time you close PERIFACT and puts it into a so-called .ZIP file. The location of that ZIP file is at the bottom of the PERIFACT screen
Tip
A double-click on the folder location listed at the very bottom of your PERIFACT main screen takes you right to the contents of this folder
Want to recover an old backup? You can! This is called a RESTORE. Of course, you will lose all your current data because they will be overwritten with the data from the old backup. Go to the tab and you will see a list of all available backups. Select the backup you want and press the button. PERIFACT does need to be closed immediately after that. Then restart and you work from now on with the retrieved backup.
